Grand Hyatt Atlanta in Buckhead

The location is excellent with restaurants and bars nearby as well as the MARTA for games and concerts at Mercedez Benz Stadium or State Farm Arena. Rooms are oversized and the beds are comfortable. The new renovated rooms bring this older hotel in a new era. Uber Blacks or Suburbans are also available almost immediately and it's a comfortable pick up and drop off zone. Even though numerous hotels no longer stock the rooms, these still have refrigerators and a gift shop downstairs. Really convenient. The check-in staff were friendly and the lobby bar and restaurants on site are about what you would expect for this hotel. I think it's a good value hotel for Buckhead currently. I've stayed seven nights total this year.

Also the room as such is somewhat outdated, it is well maintained and the corner room I had was very nice with large windows. Fantastic King size bed, very comfy. Also the size of the room is good. As the room is not new by example there are no power plugs on or near the desk where one works. Free wifi great and also bathroom very good, again not a new/modern one but absolutely ok, clean, spacious and I liked it. Staff very friendly, both at Front Desk as well, and specially, in Onyx Lobby Bar, great service.

Great location. The staff is excellent. Everyone was welcoming and easy to talk too. There are plenty of restaurants and shops near by to choose from. The hotel was a short drive to the aquarium and the zoo. The gym and pool was a huge plus too. choosing the breakfast included and valet parking made life so much easier. I would easily stay at this hotel again.

Our room was beautiful….a corner suite in the top floor. Very clean and spacious. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet each morning and also dinner in the onyx bar area overlooking the garden falls. The pool was very nice with ample chairs.
